Man pulled from water, but dies

STONY RIDGE -- A 19-year-old man was pulled from the water Wednesday at the Clearwater Quarry in Wood County's Troy Township.

Dayquo'n Marquic'e Brown was taken to Mercy St. Charles Hospital in Oregon, where he was pronounced dead about 9:30 p.m.

Troy Township Fire Department responded to a 911 call about 7:30 p.m. to the quarry, 4601 Genoa Rd., north of U.S. 23.
