WASHINGTON — President Obama will be in Maumee Thursday as part of a two-day bus tour to celebrate the American worker, campaign officials announced Sunday.

Mr. Obama will tour parts of northern Ohio and western Pennsylvania during what the campaign calls a celebration of the American worker. He will make a stop on the grounds of the Wolcott House Museum in Maumee, where he’ll talk about his efforts during the last three years to improve the American economy.

The time of the president's appearance will not be revealed until 5 p.m. today when tickets become available.

The Maumee event is free and open to the public, though a ticket is required for entrance. One ticket per person will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets are available starting today at 5 p.m. at the following locations: Organizing for America Toledo Office, 119 N. Ontario St.; Organizing for America Sylvania Office, 5834 Monroe St., Suite O, and Organizing for America Bowling Green Office, 123 E. Court St.
