Absentee ballots open to Allen Twp. residents

Allen Township residents of the Lake Local school district will vote in Wood County for the Aug. 7 special election, and may obtain absentee ballots starting Tuesday from the Wood County Board of Elections, Ottawa County officials announced.

Absentee ballots may be obtained by submitting an application form, which may be printed from the Wood County elections board’s Web site, www.co.wood.oh.us/boe/, or by calling 419-354-9120 to request the form by mail. The polling place for the school district’s Allen Township residents will be Lake Township Fire Hall No. 2, 1911 Ayers Rd.
