Water main break floods Superior, Adams downtown

Downtown Toledo streets are flooded after a water main break.

A 12-inch water main has broken near Superior and Adams streets in downtown Toledo, and the city says service to nearby customers will be temporarily shut off until the break is located and isolated.

Jen Sorgenfrei, a city spokesman, said the break and related repairs have caused, or will cause, "significant street and curb damage."
