Toledo Bar Association swears in president

Sylvania lawyer Michael J. Todak has been sworn in as 112th president of the Toledo Bar Association for the 2012-2013 membership year.

Mr. Todak is a partner in the law firm of LaValley, LaValley, Todak & Schaefer Co. LPA, with a practice concentrating in business, taxation, estate planning and administration, and real estate. A native of Toledo, Mr. Todak received his law degree from the University of Toledo college of law in 1982.

Other new officers for 2011-12 include first vice president, Lucas County Juvenile Court Judge Connie F. Zemmelman; second vice president, Randall C. Dixon of Dixon & Hayes Ltd.; third vice president, Michelle L. Kranz of Zoll, Kranz & Borgess; treasurer, Richard W. Heck of KeyBank, and national association secretary, Joan H. Rife, a sole practitioner.
