2 injured in motorcycle rollover in Hancock Co.

ARCADIA, Ohio — A motorcyclist and his passenger were injured Wednesday when their motorcycle went out of control and rolled over twice, Hancock County sheriff’s deputies said.

The crash occurred about 4:50 p.m. on State Rt. 12 near County Road 330 in Washington Township as Doug Strahm, 58, of Vanlue, Ohio, rode in the motorcycle contingent escorting the traveling Vietnam War Memorial, sheriff’s deputies said.

Mr. Strahm was taken to Fostoria Community Hospital and later transferred to Toledo Hospital, where he was in fair condition. A passenger, Angela Strahm, 56, also of Vanlue, was treated at Fostoria Community Hospital.
