Bowling Green air show to offer plane, copter rides
7/16/2012BOWLING GREEN -- Area residents will have the opportunity to take airplane rides and see aviation exhibits at the Wood County Air Fair on Saturday at the Wood County Regional Airport, 1261 E. Poe Rd., Bowling Green.
Airplane and helicopter rides will be available for a fee, and children between 8 and 17 can take free airplane rides sponsored by the EAA Young Eagle program.
Military vehicles, static aircraft, and aviation exhibits will be on display, as will the Mansfield Air National Guard Airlift Wing's new C-27 transport aircraft. The air fair will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
Breakfast and lunch will be available on site for purchase.
