Navarre sidewalks topic for meeting

Oregon Councilman Dennis Walendzak, chairman of the drainage, roads, buildings, and lands committee, has scheduled a meeting of the panel for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the council conference room. The purpose is to discuss the installation of sidewalks on Navarre Avenue.

Officials have been considering the installation of sidewalks for which property owners would be assessed. A group of residents drew attention to the lack of sidewalks near their homes by staging multiple protests.
