Gas line break closes part of Miami Street

A portion of Miami Street, closed for about two hours Tuesday after a gas line break, has reopened.

The break was reported to Toledo police at 10:47 a.m., a dispatcher said.

Officials said that a Toledo Edison crew installing a utility pole broke the line.

No evacuations or injuries were reported.

Miami was closed between Oakdale Avenue and Fassett Street in East Toledo.
