Plane crashes at airport in Wood Co.; 2 injured
8/31/2012BOWLING GREEN -- Authorities are investigating a small airplane crash at the Wood County Regional Airport in which two men received minor injuries.
Christopher Sackett, 46, a student pilot, and instructor Daniel Walker, 49, both of Michigan, were treated at the scene by Bowling Green EMS and released, troopers at the Bowling Green post of the Ohio Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said Mr. Sackett was attempting a touch-and-go landing at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday in a Kitfox series 5 Cessna when the nose struck the ground, flipping the plane on its top.
