Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, the Republican vice presidential candidate, will campaign on Monday in the Toledo area with a rally at Toledo Express Airport, Republican Party officials said Friday.
Mr. Ryan, running mate to GOP nominee Mitt Romney, will speak at a rally at Grand Aire Inc., an aviation service operator at 11777 W. Service Rd., at 11 a.m. Doors open at 9 a.m.
Tickets are available at Lucas County Republican Party headquarters, 10 S. Superior St., Toledo, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Sunday, according to party chairman Jon Stainbrook.
Mr. Stainbrook said tickets may also be obtained by calling the office at 419-482-0506 or by emailing the office at email@example.com.
He also said the party has a fresh supply of Romney/Ryan signs to distribute.
He said holding the rally at the airport saves valuable time in Mr. Ryan's busy campaign schedule.
"Every visit he makes puts us closer to winning this thing in November. We'll have him do the rally and get him on to the next place," Mr. Stainbrook said. "They're riding the momentum of the debate."
