Equestrian team to vie in state competition

SYLVANIA -- The Sylvania Equestrian Team, with riders from Northview, Southview, Wauseon, and Delta high schools, is to compete at the state competition at the Fulton County Fairgrounds on Sunday.

Among competition categories are showmanship, saddle seat, hunt, western, jumping, and trail. The riders qualified through three riding meets.

Qualifiers include Rachel Zimmermann and Tori Schafer of Northview, Morgan Poczekaj, Logan Griesinger, Halie Johnstone, and Danielle Felker of Southview, Sarah O'Neil of Delta, and Manda Martz of Wauseon.
