Inmate accused of trying to flush pills

FINDLAY — Hancock County sheriff’s deputies said an inmate at the county jail allegedly tried to flush 299 Oxycodone pills down the toilet.

Kathleen Mathis, 26, of Greenville, Tenn., was being held in the jail Friday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and speeding when deputies received information she had brought an unknown amount of prescription medication into the jail.
