Leaf pickup to begin in Bowling Green

Curbside leaf pickups in Bowling Green will start today for those in the city who receive the city's refuse and recycling services.

City officials are asking that leaves be placed loose at the curb, without branches, and not raked into the street for safety reasons. All branches must be removed.

Bowling Green residents may also take leaves to a city drop-off site located behind the Public Works garage on tarragon Drive off East Poe Road. 

Crews will pass through the city several times, and will make an announcement before it makes a final pass. To track the leaf crews' progress, go to www.bgohio.org.
