Pavement repairs to shut part of Airport Highway, Talmadge Road
10/24/2012Pavement repairs will require lane closings on busy pieces of Airport Highway and Talmadge Road starting today, the city transportation division announced.
Westbound Airport will have lanes closed between Reynolds Road and Greenridge Drive, while northbound Talmadge will be affected between I-475 and Sylvania Avenue.
City officials urged motorists to consider alternative routes to avoid congestion that is likely until the repairs are finished.
Both projects are scheduled to end Friday, weather permitting.
