City council schedules 2 additional meetings

Sylvania City Council will have two committee meetings today, in addition to the regularly scheduled meeting. The utilities and environment committee will discuss refuse and recycling issues at 6 p.m., followed by the economic development sub-committee, which will discuss historic downtown development projects.

The regular meeting is to begin at 7:30. All meetings are in council chambers at 6635 Maplewood Ave.
