BELLEVUE, Ohio — The Bellevue Public Library plans to go to voters for funds to update and repair the building.

The Bellevue city school board recently approved a request from library trustees to place a 28-year, 0.67-mill bond issue on the May primary ballot.

If approved, the bond issue would raise $2.8 million that would be used for masonry repairs, foundation work, painting, and other improvements.
