BOWLING GREEN — Applications for 2013 dog registrations may be filed beginning Dec. 3 with the Wood County Auditor’s Office.

Ohio law requires that all owners of dogs 3 months and older must register their dogs in the county in which the dog is kept.

The deadline is Jan. 31 of each year.

A registration fee of $14 for each dog must be paid with the application.

Owners of a kennel of dogs must pay a $70 fee.

In Wood County, registrations may be filed by mail, in person at the auditor’s office, or online at dogtags.co.wood.oh.us.
