Woman injured in Maumee crash
12/1/2012A Maumee woman was treated at the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio Hospital, after a crash on the Anthony Wayne Trail during Friday’s morning rush-hour traffic.
Theresa Giddens, 56, was driving a car that was traveling southbound on White Street near U.S. 24 in Maumee about 7 a.m. when it was struck by a tractor-trailer traveling westbound on U.S. 24.
The name of the semi truck drive was not released. The crash remained under investigation. No charges had been filed as of Friday night. The Maumee Police Division asks that any witnesses call 419-897-7007.
