DUNBRIDGE, Ohio — Three and a half years after a bridge on the well-traveled Dunbridge Road closed for repairs, the bridge — and the road — are scheduled to reopen on Friday.

Wood County Engineer Ray Huber said the project was delayed because the bridge just south of State Rt. 582 in Middleton Township is situated on CSX Transportation Corp. property. Mr. Huber said the county ultimately bought and demolished a house just south of the bridge and paid to relocate the displaced family that lived there.

The county also expects on Friday to reopen bridges on Ault Road near U.S. 20 in Perrysburg Township and on Bull Creek Road at Jerry City Road just south of the village of Jerry City.
