Vehicle fire closes southbound U.S. 23 south of Monroe Street in Sylvania

A vehicle fire on southbound U.S. 23 south of Monroe Street in Sylvania closed the highway late today.

The fire was reported at 10:18 p.m., Sylvania police said.

Firefighters were on their way, authorities said. The driver got out of the vehicle, and no injuries were reported.
