ODOT taking comments on Wildwood Park plan
12/29/2012The Ohio Department of Transportation has started a public-comment period about its plan to acquire a small piece of land from Wildwood Preserve Metropark for replacement of a traffic light at the park’s main entrance at Central Avenue and Exmoor Road.
The 0.145 acre of right of way to be acquired includes the site of the stoplight control box. The department plans to install mast arms or poles, signals, wiring, and controls at the intersection next summer. The department has said the work will minimally affect Wildwood Preserve. Federal law requires the agency to solicit and review comment.
