BOWLING GREEN — Apparently seeking to seize on clear, dry skies, the Ohio Department of Transportation plans repair work on I-75 starting today.

In Toledo, lane closings are planned on the southbound side from Lincoln Avenue to Collingwood Boulevard for bridge work, and in both directions between Stickney Avenue and the Michigan border for drainage work.

The former will close the southbound exit to Collingwood from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. today. The latter will occur today through Friday, also from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

During those same hours Wednesday and Thursday, bridge work will require lane closings in both directions between Bowling Green and North Baltimore. And from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. today, guardrail repairs will require lane closings between the State Rt. 235 and State Rt. 103 interchanges in Hancock County, ODOT said.

All work is weather permitting, but forecasters expect clear skies and warming temperatures today and Wednesday. Showers enter the forecast by Thursday.
