A pair of gibbons at Toledo Zoo has had a baby, the zoo has announced.

The gibbon is the third offspring of his parents. The gibbon family is on exhibit together in the zoo's Primate Forest.

Born on Nov. 27, the baby gibbon, who hasn't been named yet, is easy to spot, because -- like its mother -- it is cream colored while the other gibbons, all of whom are male, are black, zoo officials said.

Members of the zoo animal care staff are allowing the mother and the baby to bond without human intervention because of high incidence of maternal neglect among gibbons, according to the zoo.
