Owens, Red Cross host community blood drive

Area residents can take part from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today in a community blood drive, hosted by Owens Community College and the American Red Cross, in the college’s Student Health and Activities Center on its campus on Oregon Road in Perrysburg Township. The blood drive will be staffed by Owens students who are taking surgical technology and sterile processing classes.

Donors must be at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health, and have a picture ID. Walk-ins are welcome.
