Weather service issues wind chill advisory for greater Toledo area

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a wind chill advisory for the greater Toledo area, effective from 10 p.m. today through 11 a.m. Tuesday.

There will be a 40 percent chance of snow showers but with little or no snow accumulation the weather service reported. The temperature high will be around 20 degrees with the low around 6 degrees overnight. There could be wind gusts as high as 30 mph and the wind chill effect could make it feel as low as -16 degree.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, with a chance of snow showers in the morning, highs of about 13 degrees, and wind gusts of up to 25 mph. There is a 30 percent chance of snow throughout the day and the wind chill could make it feel as low as -13 degrees. Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy and colder, with single-digit lows and a wind chill value of as low as -10 degrees.
