Wind chill advisory in effect for freezing day

The National Weather Service in Cleveland issued a wind chill advisory for the greater Toledo area, effective through 11 a.m. today.

The advisory went into effect at 10 p.m. Monday.

It is forecasted to be mostly cloudy today, with a chance of snow showers in the morning and highs of about 13 degrees, with wind gusts of up to 25 mph.

There is a 30 percent chance of snow throughout the day and the wind chill could make it feel as low as -13 degrees. Overnight today will be mostly cloudy and colder, with single-digit lows and a wind chill value as low as -8 degrees.

Wednesday is predicted to be chilly, with mostly cloudy skies. The high is to be near 19, with a wind chill as low as -9 degrees, according to the weather service.
