Air National Guard conducting night training flights

The 180th Fighter Wing of the Ohio Air National Guard will be conducting night training flights beginning today through Thursday, Feb. 7.

According to the National Guard, area residents may hear the F-16 fighter jets taking off and landing at about 9 p.m. during the next two weeks.

Training flights normally take place during daylight hours, but, F-16 pilots and maintenance personnel are required to conduct night operations as part of their training.
