Air National Guard plans local night drills

The 180th Fighter Wing of the Ohio Air National Guard will conduct nightly training flights through Feb. 7.

Area residents might see or hear F-16 fighter jets taking off and landing until about 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday, during this period, according to officials at the Swanton unit.

F-16 pilots and maintenance staff conduct night operations as part of their training.
