Shaver named to seat on Fostoria City Council

FOSTORIA — City Council chose a new member to fill an at-large opening after the December death of Councilman Jerry Nelson. The council named Brian Shaver, 35, to the open position. His term expires at the end of 2015.

He is the director of parish and schools for St. Wendelin in Fostoria.
