The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office will host its second annual winter adoption event, “Puppy Love at the Dog Warden,” on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 410 S. Erie St.

The event will include adoption activities, a photo booth, spay and neuter information, a puppy-kissing booth, and children’s crafts.

All dogs adopted at the event will receive a basket filled with dog supplies and toys. Attendees can win grooming certificates, Petco gift cards, and dog toys.

The warden’s $100 adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, initial vaccines, worming, microchip and registration, exam, and behavioral evaluation. An additional $25 is charged to license the dog, which must be done at the time of adoption.

Sponsors include Humane Ohio, the Humane Society of the United States, Gentle Touch Pet Grooming, Petco, and The Blade.
