Firm hired to engineer Sylvania Twp. fuel depot replacement

Toledo-based Vetter Design Group has been hired by Sylvania Township for engineering work on a project to replace and redesign the township’s fuel depot.

The old fuel pumps, located behind the township hall, will be replaced. A card-activated system for fueling will be installed. The underground tank will not need to be replaced.

All township vehicles, except those used by the police department which has its own fuel site at the police station, are fueled at the depot.

The contract with Vetter Design Group is for $9,400.
