Youngsters share love of reading

The event, presented Monday by the Top Ladies of Distinction Inc., featured free books for children and refreshments.

More than 50 people attended. Mr. Hopson, a Bowsher High grad who played five seasons in the NBA, spoke on the impact education has had on his athletic career and its importance for young children.
