1 taken to hospital after crash near Perrysburg High

A two-vehicle injury crash today in front of Perrysburg High School sent one person to a hospital, Perrysburg police said.

A student was turning left into the school from Roachton Road when he hit an oncoming vehicle at 7:40 a.m. today.

The name and condition of the victim were not released. 

Perrysburg Deputy Chief Michael Gilmore said the accident only caused minor injuries. The car that collided with the student's vehicle was not that of a student.

Police would not release any names, but a complete report will be out later today or Wednesday morning.
