Starting today, Bancroft reduced to 1-way traffic

Part of Bancroft Street in far western Toledo will be reduced to one-way traffic today when a reconstruction project starts, the city transportation division announced.

Work will begin on Bancroft between Reynolds Road and the western village limits of Ottawa Hills at 9 a.m., blocking the street to eastbound traffic. A detour will direct eastbound motorists to Dorr Street between Reynolds and Richards roads.

Westbound traffic will be maintained through the work area but will be subject to delays.

This construction phase is slated to last through mid-June. The overall completion is set for early August.
