Authorities have identified John Lamb, Jr., 37, and Shaneil Williams, 28, both of Toledo, as those killed in a fatal collision involving a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer rig on Hill Avenue.

Ms. Williams, who was riding on a motorcycle driven by Mr. Lamb, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Lucas Country Coroner's Office.

Mr. Lamb was taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:51 a.m. Wednesday, Steve Kahle, a Lucas County coroner's investigator, said.

The crash occurred at 8:36 p.m. Tuesday in the 3200 block of Hill, near Westwood Avenue, Toledo police said. A semi, driven by Dallas Phillips, Jr., 49, of Beavercreek, Ohio, pulled out of a private driveway at 3209 Hill onto Hill Avenue in front of the motorcycle, which was eastbound on Hill, police said. The motorcycle then crashed into the side of the semi, according to police.

No charges have been filed. The crash remained under investigation by police and they have not said whether either of the victims was wearing a helmet.
