Toledo’s schedule and plans to rebuild part of Collingwood Boulevard are to be presented at an open house Tuesday in an Old West End church.

Officials from the Toledo Division of Engineering Services and construction contractor Crestline Paving and Excavating will be at the two-hour session slated to start at 4:30 p.m. in Collingwood Presbyterian Church, 2108 Collingwood. The brief presentation is set for 5:30 p.m.

Work to replace a water main under Collingwood between Monroe Street and Central Avenue is slated to start Friday, followed by reconstruction of the street, curbs, drainage, and sidewalks. Six dozen curbside trees south of the Ashland Avenue intersection were removed as part of the preparations.
