COLUMBUS — Mom’s House in Toledo will receive up to $100,000 from Ohio’s share of federal public assistance dollars under an executive order signed by Gov. John Kasich.

Mom’s House will use a Temporary Assistance of Needy Families grant to provide early childhood and parenting programs.

The funds are part of a total of $6.5 million that will be shared by various organizations in the state to help reduce the effects of low birth-weight babies, boost after-school programs, help prisoners reintegrate into society, and make summer meal deliveries.
