Senior citizen activities at Ottawa County fair slated for July 17

OAK HARBOR, Ohio — On July 17, the Ottawa County Senior Fair Board and Ottawa County Senior Resources will host “Senior Citizen’s Day at the Ottawa County Fair.” Attendees 60 and older will receive free fair admission and may participate in senior activities at Building B-3 Barn on the fairgrounds.

“Senior Day” events include a continental breakfast, lunchtime entertainment from Just Us Two, an ice cream social, bingo, and wagon rides on the fairgrounds. Blood pressure checks and speech therapy screenings will be available, and transportation will be offered to and from parking lots.

There are 250 tickets at $2, and they are available at all senior centers and the main office of Senior Resources. Proceeds will benefit the Ottawa County Senior Levy Committee. Box lunches will have hoagies, chips, fruit, cookies, and bottled water.
