Local air guard pilots 
to train at Dayton base

Pilots from the 180th Fighter Wing of the Ohio Air National Guard will conduct flying operations out of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton for about three weeks while runway maintenance is performed at Toledo Express Airport. The exercises began Wednesday and will continue until Sept. 8.

Pilots for the Swanton base periodically fly F-16 fighter jets for readiness training.
