A $2.15 million low interest loan from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency will be used to install a new water line along River Road in Rossford.

The Northwestern Water and Sewer District, which will install the line, is expected to save $470,000 in financing costs over the 20-year life of the loan, compared to market-rate terms.

The River Road water main will service Rossford, Perrysburg, and other northern Wood County areas. It will replace a cast-iron main from 1924.
