BOWLING GREEN — A Canadian truck driver was killed early Thursday when the tractor-trailer he was driving on I-75 overturned.

Wayne Wyatt, 59, of Chatham, Ont., was pronounced dead at Wood County Hospital, where he had been taken after the 5:25 a.m. crash on northbound I-75 in Portage Township, just south of the U.S. Route 6 interchange, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Troopers are still investigating why the semi went off the highway. The northbound lanes were closed intermittently for several hours, troopers said.
