Bowling Green bash will honor volunteers
10/21/2013BOWLING GREEN — At an event on Wednesday, the city will recognize community volunteers who help maintain public spaces and parks, and pursue charitable and social service projects
Mayor Richard Edwards said a proclamation will be presented at the Harvest Festival Volunteer Appreciation Bash from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wood County Library’s Carter House facility.
The event, sponsored by Downtown Bowling Green, will thank community volunteers who have donated thousands of hours to the downtown organization’s efforts to preserve and promote the historic heart of the city. Reservations are needed and may be made by calling 419-354-4332.
