A concert, a screening of The Great Gatsby, and a book sale are on tap at Way Public Library.

The week starts at 2 p.m. Thursday with The Great Gatsby, the 2013 hit with Leonardo DiCaprio playing Jay Gatsby. Tobey Maguire co-stars. Light refreshments will be served. No admission is required; the event is for adults only.

The book sale is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. It will include thousands of books and a variety of DVDs. Prices are $15 for a large bag and $5 for a small bag of books — bags are available at the sale. Proceeds benefit the library.

At 2 p.m. Sunday, sisters Maria and Ekaterina Bessmeltseva will perform in concert. The violinist-pianist duo’s program is to include pieces by Stravinsky, Lyadov, Monti, Elgar, Medtner, Piazzolla, and Tchaikovsky.
