Semi driver charged in crash on I-75 North

An Ontario man was charged after his tractor-trailer collided with another on I-75 North in central Toledo late Thursday.

Sidhu Singh of Brampton, Ont., suffered minor injuries and refused treatment, Toledo police said. He was cited for an illegal lane change.

Michael Vann of Memphis, the other semi’s driver, was not injured.

Mr. Singh was driving north between the Collingwood Boulevard and downtown exits about 9:40 p.m. when he changed lanes, causing Mr. Vann to lose control and jack-knife, police said.
