Snow causes event cancellations around region
List of closings includes Toledo Zoo, some high school sports
12/14/2013Springfield High School's hockey game and its basketball game against Eastwood today have both been canceled.
The final rounds of the !2th Annual Knight Invitational swim meet being held today on the University of Toledo campus have been canceled.
Cedar Creek Church, 29129 Lime City Rd., Perrysburg, has canceled services for tonight because of the weather. Sunday services will be held at regular times at all the campuses. Church officials are asking people to come to the 9 a.m. service instead of the 10:45 a.m. service if possible, although both will be held.
Millbury United Methodist Church, South Street, Millbury, has canceled all services and programs for Sunday.
The Toledo Zoo has closed until 10 a.m. Sunday.
The Sunday bird watching event at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1502 W Central Ave., has been canceled, according to Patty Toneff, the event's organizer.
