First ladies subject of Hayes center lecture
2/10/2014FREMONT — The Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center in Fremont on Sunday will offer its 2014 Hayes Lecture on the Presidency.
A reception and dinner begins at 5 p.m., with the lecture at 7 p.m.
Allida M. Black of George Washington University in D.C. will present “The Other Leaders in the White House: First Ladies from Lucy Hayes to Michelle Obama.” The National Machinery Foundation is presenting the event.
Tickets to the reception and dinner are $30 per person; tickets to the lecture only are $10. Call 419-332-2081 by Wednesday.
