Wednesday’s low of 9 breaks 1894 record

The 9-degree low at Toledo Express Airport at 6:35 a.m. broke an 11-degree record from 1894.
It was the sixth daily record low since early January, along with three ties. Forecasters expect below-normal temperatures to persist in the Toledo area through Saturday, along with predicting a rain-snow mix that day, before warmer weather returns.
