Toledo school collects clothing for refugees
4/24/2014Toledo Early College High School continues a clothing collection to aid Syrian refugees displaced by a civil war.
“As the refugee situation in Syria worsens and the number of refugees living in terrible conditions continues to grow, we have to push ourselves harder to collect more clothing,” Hala Abou-Dahech, TECHS senior class president, said in a prepared statement. “The community came together so beautifully last time. ... I’m sure this time we will do even better and help even more Syrians in need.”
Donations will be accepted at the school, 2225 Nebraska Ave., until May 2. Other arrangements are available by calling 419-530-3003.
