A speaking engagement at Lake High School featuring Holocaust survivor Paula Marks Bolten has been postponed.

The event, scheduled for Friday, had to be postponed because Mrs. Marks-Bolton was dealing with multiple health issues, school officials said.

Last year, a group from the school’s advanced English class went to listen to Mrs. Marks-Bolton during the Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony in Toledo, and raised funds along with others at the school to make a donation to the Ruth Fajerman Markowicz Holocaust Resource Center of the Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo.

School officials sent out a statement that they hope to reschedule Mrs. Marks-Bolton’s presentation in the fall.
